Replaced by BrightEye Control – 01 March 2017

BrightEye Mac and PC have been replaced by BrightEye Control. BrightEye Control provides an improved user interface, as well as many improvements and bug fixes.

2.1.5 – 8 January 2015

  • Improved audio controls for BrightEye 75/76.
  • Fixed crashing bug that could occur when disconnecting a BrightEye that’s not selected in the UI when there is more than one BrightEye connected.
  • Fixed a rare crashing bug related to reloading the BrightEye list.

  • Windows – Improved USB reliability. Better support for BrightEye models that did not work consistently in previous versions.
  • Windows – Improved USB performance. The speed of menu loading and software updates have been improved significantly.
  • Mac – Support for code-signing on Mac OS X 10.9.5+.
  • Mac – Requires Mac OS X 10.7+.

  • Improvements to BrightEye Mitto Selection Tool. It’s easier to position and move.
  • New “Center” command for BrightEye Mitto, which makes it easy to bring the Selection Tool in from Full Screen.
  • Selection Tool now warns about resolution mismatch.
  • Updated Simulated BrightEyes.
  • Supports GateKeeper on Mac OS X.
  • Bug fixes.

  • Fixed crash on Macintosh when loading bundled simulator files if the application had been installed by a different user.
